BONSALL STRONG WEEKEND

Bonsall Strong Community Celebration Weekend is a two-day community event that brings together students, families, local businesses, veterans, first responders, and community organizations to honor Patriot Day, celebrate community spirit, and support local causes.

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, the event will feature the Bonsall Strong Jog-a-Thon for Heroes, a fun and inclusive fundraiser where participants of all ages can walk or jog at their own pace while raising funds for selected local charities that support veterans, first responders, and local charities. The day will begin with a Patriot Day tribute and recognition of local heroes, followed by opportunities for community participation, fundraising, and civic engagement. These event will take place at Bonsall Elementary School.

Following the Patriot Day tribute, the celebration will continue at River Village with the Bonsall Strong Festival, featuring local businesses, nonprofit organizations, artisan vendors, food, family activities, community resources, and entertainment. The festival is designed to showcase the strength and spirit of the Bonsall community while encouraging residents to support local organizations and businesses.

The weekend concludes on Sunday, September 13, 2026, with the Stormy McInerny Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser, held at Backdraft Bar & Grill, a special event dedicated to honoring Stormy’s legacy while raising funds to support scholarships for local firefighters to the fire academy. Together, these events create a meaningful weekend focused on service, community, education, and giving back.
